Belfer Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using Belfer, an iPhone and iPad teacher planner provided by AWMB Ltd.

1. Operator and eligibility

Belfer is provided by AWMB Ltd. You must be legally able to agree to these terms and to Apple's applicable terms for apps obtained through the App Store. Belfer is designed for adult educators and is not directed to children.

2. License and Apple EULA

Subject to these terms, AWMB Ltd grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Belfer on Apple devices you own or control, for your own teaching-planning purposes. When Belfer is distributed through the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement is the selected EULA and also applies. If these app-specific terms conflict with that EULA, the terms that cannot be added or changed by AWMB Ltd do not apply.

3. Acceptable use

  • Use Belfer lawfully and do not interfere with its security, operation, or distribution.
  • Do not reverse engineer, redistribute, rent, resell, or commercially exploit Belfer except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Do not use Belfer to enter student names, student IDs, grades, attendance, accommodations, rosters, education records, or other identifiable student information.
  • Do not use Belfer for emergency, safety-critical, legal, medical, payroll, attendance, grading, or official student-record decisions.

4. Your content and backups

You are responsible for the schedule, section, lesson, link, room, and other content you enter and for having the right to store and use it. Review generated schedules and calendar exceptions before relying on them. Use Belfer's export controls and appropriate device backups if you need a recoverable copy. Deleting the app, local data, a device backup, or future synchronized data may be irreversible.

5. Purchases, renewal, cancellation, and restoration

No Belfer purchase, subscription, renewal period, or trial is currently offered.

If Belfer is sold through an App Store purchase or subscription, the customer-facing terms will be updated before sale to state exactly what the purchase unlocks, its price and period, whether it renews, and how to cancel. Apple will handle billing through the customer's Apple Account. Belfer will provide Restore Purchases so Apple can confirm an eligible entitlement. Deleting Belfer will not cancel an Apple subscription if one is later offered.

6. Availability and changes

AWMB Ltd may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue Belfer or particular features. The app may occasionally be unavailable or behave differently because of operating-system, device, iCloud, App Store, or network changes. AWMB Ltd does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation and will not silently treat a moved lesson as taught.

7. Disclaimers and limits

Belfer is a planning aid, not an official school calendar, student-information system, or substitute for checking school and district instructions. Any warranty disclaimer or limitation of liability is governed by Apple's Standard EULA and the non-excludable rights available under applicable law. These terms do not exclude or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Apple's Standard EULA contains governing-law provisions, and mandatory local consumer law may also apply.

8. Privacy, changes, and contact

The Belfer Privacy Policy explains local storage, optional future iCloud behavior, support messages, diagnostics, and deletion choices. AWMB Ltd may update these terms when Belfer or its release configuration changes. The effective date will be updated and material changes will be communicated where required.
