Quick help for keeping one task Current, deliberately parking interrupted work, and returning with the right context.

Include the TaskRecess version, iOS version, device model, affected screen or action, the steps that led to the issue, and the exact error wording.
Do not send task titles, notes, hold-up details, names, private links, exports, receipts, Apple Account credentials, or other sensitive information.
Park a Task
When nothing is Current, tap Park a Task. Add a title, choose Paused, Waiting on, or Blocked by, enter a meaningful hold-up detail, and save.
Park Current
Tap Park Current to put the Current task aside. Choose why it stopped and record the detail that will help you return. Optional fields can hold a next action, note, source link, or follow-up date.
Paused, Waiting on, or Blocked by
- Paused means you chose to stop and can decide when to continue.
- Waiting on means progress depends on a person, response, or expected event.
- Blocked by means a concrete obstacle prevents the next step.
Resume when another task is Current
Tap Resume on the parked task. If another task is Current, TaskRecess asks you to park it first so the existing work and its hold-up are preserved.
Undo an accidental completion
Use the immediate Undo banner after completing a task accidentally. The undo action is intentionally immediate rather than a permanent archive-recovery promise.
Widget Privacy
Open Widget Privacy to control what TaskRecess may show on system surfaces. Count-only is the default for widgets and the Lock Screen. Greater disclosure happens only after you explicitly choose it.
JSON and CSV export
Open Data & Features. Complete JSON export is always available without Pro and includes every task, history event, and preset. CSV is a TaskRecess Pro convenience format for task data. Nothing is exported until you choose a destination through Apple's share interface.
Delete All TaskRecess Data
In Data & Features, choose Delete All TaskRecess Data and confirm. This clears tasks, history, presets, queued captures, generated exports, reminders, widget data and settings, and Live Activities. App Store purchase ownership remains with Apple so an eligible purchase can be restored.
Restore TaskRecess Pro purchases
Open TaskRecess Pro and tap Restore Purchases. Apple processes the transaction and TaskRecess receives verified entitlement status; TaskRecess does not receive or store payment-card details.
